Buying SP1406 from Flexa Systems
Buy the Control Techniques SP1406 VFD, available on request brand new or refurbished, or send yours to Flexa Systems for repair. The drive is rated 480 VAC three-phase, 11 amps and 7.5 HP (5.5 kW), so it suits three-phase motors in the 7.5 HP class on pumps, fans, conveyors and similar machinery. Before ordering, confirm your plant feed is 480 VAC three-phase and that your motor's full-load current is within the drive's 11 amp rating. To source one, request a quote and tell us which condition you need. Every SP1406 we ship is tested and covered by a 2-year warranty, and a refurbished unit typically saves 30-60% over brand new.
Repair option: send in your faulty unit for component-level repair — $970.00 with free diagnostics, a 2-year warranty, and a 5–30 business day turnaround. Repair typically costs 40–70% of a new unit, saving you 30–60%. Learn more about our VFD repair service.

SP1406 FAQ
What should I match before swapping in a replacement SP1406?
Check your motor nameplate against the drive's 7.5 HP (5.5 kW) and 11 amp ratings, and verify that the incoming supply is 480 VAC three-phase. If your existing drive still powers up, back up its parameters so the replacement can be set up to run the motor the same way.
