Lenze Series We Repair

Legacy 8200 and 9300 series through current i550 and 9400 servo inverters — all repaired at component level.

VFD — Legacy

8200 Vector

Widely deployed in packaging, conveyor, and material handling lines. Lenze 8200 motec is the integrated motor-mounted version. OEM support discontinued — Flexa repairs these at component level.

  • E82EV — All kW Ratings
  • 8200 motec — Motor Integrated
Legacy 0.25–90kW
VFD

8400 StateLine / TopLine

Current-generation general-purpose VFDs with extensive fieldbus options. Widely used in packaging machines, conveyors, and process lines across food and beverage industries.

  • E84AV StateLine
  • E84AV TopLine
  • E84AV HighLine
0.25–90kW Fieldbus Options
VFD

i550 / SMV / SMD

Latest generation Lenze drives with integrated EtherCAT and safety functions. SMV (simple variable speed) and SMD (dynamic control) cover a wide range of industrial applications.

  • i550 — Current Generation
  • SMV — Simple Variable Speed
  • SMD — Dynamic Control
Current Generation EtherCAT
VFD — Legacy

9300 Series

High-performance legacy drives widely used in paper, printing, and textile machinery. Lenze OEM no longer supports this series — Flexa provides component-level repair and full restoration.

  • EVF9321 to EVF9381
Legacy Up to 90kW
Servo

9400 / ECSxS / ECSxA

Servo inverters for coordinated multi-axis motion in packaging machines, printing presses, and converting lines. ECSxA multi-axis systems share a common DC bus.

  • EVS9321 / EVS9322
  • ECSxS — Single-Axis
  • ECSxA — Multi-Axis
Servo Inverter Motion Control

Lenze Error Codes We Diagnose & Fix

8200 and 8400 series faults traced to component-level root cause — IGBT replacement, capacitor service, and control board repair.

Error OC1 / OC2 — Overcurrent

IGBT bridge failure on 8200 and 8400 series. Common in high-duty-cycle conveyor and packaging applications. Component-level IGBT replacement restores output current capability without a full power section swap.

Error OU — DC Bus Overvoltage

Capacitor aging causes DC bus instability on 8200 and 9300 series after 7–10 years of operation. Full capacitor bank replacement with modern equivalents resolves recurring OU trips and extends drive life.

Error CE / LP — Control Board Fault

Control board failure or EEPROM corruption on 8400 and i550 series. IC-level repair with full parameter reload. We restore all drive parameters and application settings after repair is complete.

Error OH — Overtemperature

Cooling fan failure on 8400 and 9300 series triggers thermal shutdown before the drive reaches rated load. Fan replacement, thermal interface re-application, and full load testing under operating temperature.

The Flexa Advantage for Lenze Repair

Legacy support for discontinued Lenze models, full parameter restore, and 2-year warranty on every repair.

Legacy Lenze Support

We repair 8200 and 9300 series drives that Lenze OEM no longer supports. Component-level repair keeps your existing machinery running without a full drive replacement or machine retrofit.

Full Parameter Restore

All drive parameters and application settings are backed up before repair and fully restored afterwards. No retuning required — the drive goes back in the machine exactly as it left.

Fast Turnaround

Most Lenze 8200, 8400, and i550 repairs are completed in 3–5 business days. Rush 24–72-hour service available for packaging line and conveyor downtime emergencies.

Repair vs. Replace Savings

New Lenze 8400 or i550 drives cost $800–$5,000+. Our component-level repair runs 30–50% of that — and avoids the machine integration cost of fitting a new-generation drive into an existing application.

Common Questions

Lenze Drive Repair — FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about our Lenze drive and servo repair service.

What Lenze drives does Flexa Systems repair?

We repair Lenze inverter and servo drive product families:

  • Current series: i500, i550, 8400 StateLine, 8400 TopLine, 8400 HighLine
  • Servo inverters: 9400 HighLine, 9300 servo inverters
  • Legacy series: 8200 Vector, 8200 motec, E82 series
How much does Lenze drive repair cost?

Lenze drive repairs save 40–70% vs. buying new. Typical ranges:

  • i500 / 8400 StateLine (compact): $350–$800
  • 8400 TopLine / HighLine: $600–$1,800
  • 9400 HighLine servo inverter: $700–$2,000
  • Legacy 8200 Vector series: $300–$900

Free evaluation — no charge if you decide not to proceed.

Can you repair discontinued Lenze drives?

Yes. The Lenze 8200 Vector and E82 series are discontinued but still deployed widely in packaging and material handling. Component-level repair is often the only practical option when replacement units require full system retrofits.

What are the most common Lenze drive failures?

Most common Lenze fault modes we resolve at component level:

  • LP1 / LP2 — DC bus undervoltage, capacitor degradation
  • OC1 / OC2 — overcurrent, IGBT or gate driver failure
  • OH — overtemperature, fan or thermal pad failure
  • CE — communication error, fieldbus interface board fault
What warranty do you offer on Lenze repairs?

All Lenze repairs carry a 2-year parts and labor warranty. Full load test before shipment. No fix, no fee.
