Repairable Issues Common on This Drive 🔧

  • ⚡ DC link overvoltage due to regen energy buildup, high input, or missing brake resistor
  • 🔋 DC undervoltage during power dips, phase loss, or internal PSU failure
  • 🚨 Motor overcurrent events caused by shock loading or wrong torque/ramp settings
  • 🌡️ Heatsink thermal trips — often from blocked vents or control cabinet overheating
  • 🐢 Motor stall trips from load inertia, poor torque config, or low current limits
  • 🔥 Overloaded braking resistor in heavy decel applications without proper delay
  • 🧨 Brake switch overload under frequent stops or long decel profiles
  • 📡 Communication dropout due to bad cable routing or COMMS config
  • 🛑 STO error tied to safe torque off module failure or board damage
  • 🔄 Internal COMMS failure between controller and IGBT modules
  • 🎯 Encoder or feedback mismatch, causing speed regulation faults
  • ⚠️ Current spikes tripping the drive when exceeding set threshold
  • 🔌 24V output supply drop triggered by shorts in the customer interface
  • ⚠️ Input phase fail warning — may be due to wiring, fusing, or internal trace issues
  • 💥 DESAT protection triggering from IGBT or power transistor faults
  • 🔁 High VDC ripple warnings from unbalanced input or weak bus caps
  • 💣 Brake circuit overcurrent fault, indicating bad wiring or resistor failure
  • 🚀 Overspeed alarms due to faulty encoder or unstable feedback loop
  • 📏 Analog input configuration error or signal drift
  • 🐌 Excess current at low frequency, typically from fixed boost misconfiguration
  • 🌡️ Motor overtemp detection caused by failed thermistor or poor ventilation
