Parker 690+0025/460/1NN | 25 HP / 18.5 kW VFD – 460V, No Interface Option

Standard 690+ Drive – Interface-Free for Custom Integrations

The Parker 690+0025/460/1NN is a 25 HP, 460V-rated variable frequency drive engineered for flexible industrial applications. With its “1NN” code, this unit does not come with a built-in interface, making it a clean slate for OEMs or integrators who prefer to implement custom logic or external communication modules.

Technical Overview

  • Power Rating: 25 HP / 18.5 kW
  • Input Voltage: 460V 3-phase
  • Interface Option: 1NN (No factory-fitted control interface)
  • Design: IP20 open-style chassis
  • Drive Type: AC Vector Drive, configurable for sensorless or closed-loop control

Typical Failures We Handle

Here’s a look at frequent faults Flexa Systems diagnoses and resolves on this model — tailored to the 1NN variant:

  • Unresponsive Logic: Drive appears powered but doesn’t accept external inputs.
  • Overvoltage Alarms: Surges or regen energy spikes leading to shutdowns.
  • Shorted Output Transistors: Internal IGBT faults causing drive trips.
  • Capacitor Deterioration: Loss of bus voltage filtering from aging electrolytics.
  • Firmware Lockups: Boot failure or corrupted memory on power-up.
  • Precharge Relay Failures: Inrush handling components no longer functional.
  • Cooling Circuit Trouble: Thermistor or fan problems triggering heat alarms.
  • Line Sync Error: Fault during phase detection at input.
  • Analog Input Misread (after interface install): Readings drift or freeze intermittently.
  • Drive in Ready State but No Start Signal Registered: Often wiring-related or logic misalignment.
  • Power Section Damage: Phase-to-ground faults from load side backfeed.
  • Heatsink Thermal Warning: Gradual rise in baseplate temp not matching load.
  • Encoder Feedback Faults (on external card): Signal loss or scaling mismatch.
  • Output Phase Loss: Blown traces or broken solder at terminals.
  • Gate Pulse Driver Failure: Drive doesn’t switch correctly under load.
  • RS485 Port Not Working: No response even after configuration checks.
  • Hard Trip on Enable: Drive immediately faults when enabled due to logic issues.
  • Corrupt EEPROM: Can’t store or retrieve parameter sets correctly.
  • Fluctuating Carrier Frequency: Audible noise and inconsistent drive behavior.
  • Voltage Imbalance Detected: Input legs differ more than spec tolerance.
  • Drive Nonfunctional Post-Rewire: Damage from misconnection or phase reversal.
