Common Problems We Fix with This Drive πŸ› οΈ

  • ⚑ Overvoltage: usually caused by aggressive deceleration without braking resistor
  • πŸ”‹ Undervoltage: from unstable input, missing phases, or internal PSU faults
  • 🚨 Overcurrent: results from improper motor tuning, shorted windings, or sudden torque changes
  • 🌑️ Heatsink trip: blocked airflow, dead fan, or ambient temp exceeding limits
  • πŸ›‘ Stall faults: too much mechanical load or improperly set stall thresholds
  • πŸ”₯ Brake resistor overload: frequent decel events or undersized resistor
  • πŸ’£ Brake switch burnout: happens after continuous high-cycle braking
  • πŸ“‘ COMMS timeout: from parameter config issues or interference on signal line
  • πŸ›‘ STO fault: safety board signal issues or failed STO input
  • πŸ” Internal comm errors: logic board and power section desync, often from firmware failure
  • 🎯 Encoder fault: feedback loop out-of-range or bad encoder connection
  • ⚠️ Current limit exceeded: motor acceleration or torque profile too aggressive
  • πŸ”Œ 24V supply drop: external short or excessive load
  • ⚠️ Phase fail: due to input wiring loss or internal trace failure
  • πŸ’₯ DESAT overcurrent: blown IGBT, faulty gate driver, or heavy load arc fault
  • πŸ”„ Ripple voltage issue: common with failing DC bus capacitors or power phase imbalance
  • 🧨 Brake fault: resistor path overcurrent or open circuit
  • πŸš€ Overspeed: bad feedback tuning or mechanical instability
  • πŸ“ Analog input issues: sensor wiring or signal calibration mismatch
  • 🐌 Overcurrent at low speed: boost configured too aggressively or underloaded
  • 🌑️ Motor overtemperature: blocked ventilation, thermistor trip, or mismatched motor
